Copper Indoor Swing | Love Aesthetics
My copper and leather swing has become the most popular seat in the living room since it’s been up. It’s also such an aesthetically pleasing addition to the space; made from my favorite materials white leather and shiny pink copper, it works perfectly with the rest of my living room. This piece is actually incredibly easy to make and the epitome of my new summer credo “don’t forget to play.” —Ivania

Joints Furniture (2014) by Nordic Design Lab on Kickstarter
With Joints, we aim not only to bring beautiful pieces of furniture to the market, but also to spread the joy of making, exploring and experimenting. Sure, you can always go to IKEA and get a pre-designed piece of furniture to put together, but there’s something innately more satisfying and fun when you have an option to hack your own creation from a kit of parts.
At the end of the day, you will have not just built a table, or a rack, or a lamp. You will have enjoyed a process of creating and making.
